The Purvis Tornadoes won the last time they faced the Sacred Heart Crusaders, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Purvis blew past Sacred Heart 52-29. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Purvis.
Purvis' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Systren Eliza Elenus, who almost dropped a triple-double on 9 points, 9 rebounds, and 9 steals. Eliza Elenus is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Breleigh Adkins, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds.
Purvis now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Sacred Heart, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Purvis will be playing at home against Lamar Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sacred Heart, they will head out on the road to face off against Seminary at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
