Lincoln Southwest is 3-0 against the Discoverers since February of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks will look to defend their home court against the Columbus Discoverers at 7:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Lincoln Southwest's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while the Discoverers have been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.
Last Friday, Lincoln Southwest beat the Griffins 61-48.
Lincoln Southwest relied on the efforts of Bj Bradford, who scored 18 points, and Braden Frager, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mari Shumaker, who scored seven points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Columbus pushed their score all the way to 63 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They received a tough blow as they fell 78-63 to Omaha North. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Wednesday (62), Columbus still had to take the loss.
Lincoln Southwest is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Columbus, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-13.
