The Jasper Bulldogs won the last time they faced the Evadale Rebels, and things went their way on Saturday too. Everything went Jasper's way against Evadale as Jasper made off with a 56-34 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Jasper.
When it comes to explaining why Evadale lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jaden Gravis. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. Gravis hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games.
Jasper's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Evadale, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jasper's road trip will continue as they head out to face Port Neches-Groves at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. Port Neches-Groves is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Evadale, they will head out on the road to face off against Hargrave at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Hargrave will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
