Pearland's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was A'zyua Blair, who scored 21 points along with five steals. Blair has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 23 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of La'Niah Thornton, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Pearland has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 20 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 27-4 record this season. As for Shadow Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 17-12.
