Lane Hladky was his usual excellent self, going 8 for 15 en route to 29 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. His afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Jack Andela, who posted 11 points and five boards.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Laramie, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They skirted past Thunder Basin 61-59.
Laramie's win came from a few key players Campbell County will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Max Alexander, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 17 points and eight rebounds. That's the most boards he has posted since back in March of 2024. Jaden Smith was another key player, going 6 for 8 to rack up 19 points.
Laramie smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in four consecutive games.
Laramie's victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.1 points over those games. As for Campbell County, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Campbell County has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 25.9 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Laramie struggles in that department as they've been averaging 30 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Campbell County couldn't quite finish off Laramie when the teams last played back in January and fell 61-58. Will Campbell County have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
