Southland Academy snuck past Deerfield-Windsor with a 20-14 win. That's two games straight that Southland Academy has won by exactly six points.
Despite the defeat, Deerfield-Windsor saw an underclassman step up: Lane Sceals threw for 181 yards and two touchdowns.
Southland Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Deerfield-Windsor, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Southland Academy will take on Lakeview Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Deerfield-Windsor does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
