Basketball Recap: Piedmont Community Charter Extends Home Winning Streak to Three

If Carolina International wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Piedmont Community Charter, they should've done a better job of containing Allasha Houser. The Piedmont Community Charter Patriots blew past the Carolina International Comets 58-10 on Friday thanks in part to Houser, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 boards. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games.

Another player making a difference was Natalie Faris, who posted three points and three steals. That's the most steals she has posted since back in November of 2024.

Piedmont Community Charter pushed their record up to 10-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.3 points per game. As for Carolina International, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Piedmont Community Charter has already played their next game, a 50-24 win against Sugar Creek Charter on the 28th. As for Carolina International, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 55-13 loss against Piedmont Community Charter on the 30th.
