If the Clover Park Timberwolves were riding high off their 55-15 takedown of the Franklin Pierce Cardinals on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Clover Park was dealt a 76-44 defeat at the hands of Enumclaw on Wednesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Clover Park has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Clover Park still got an impressive performance from Kamila Salanoa, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 16 rebounds. Salanoa scored a full 47.7% of Clover Park's points, the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Aliana Riviere, who scored eight points along with five steals.
Clover Park's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Enumclaw, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Clover Park will be home for the holidays to greet Lakes at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Enumclaw will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Kennedy Catholic at 1:00 p.m. on December 29th.
