Seminole Ridge hasn't had much luck against Park Vista recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Seminole Ridge Hawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Park Vista Cobras at 6:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Friday.
Seminole Ridge is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Glades Day a 21-0 shutout on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
Brandon Turner made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Turner was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

In other pitching news, Gage Roof looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February of 2024.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Grady Endemann, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one double. Luke Vento was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
Seminole Ridge kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Glades Day didn't hit any hits.
Meanwhile, Park Vista got the win against Suncoast on Tuesday by a conclusive 9-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cobras.
Seminole Ridge has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. The victory got Park Vista back to even at 2-2.
Seminole Ridge might still be hurting after the 7-1 defeat they got from Park Vista in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will Seminole Ridge have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more baseball content.
