Softball Recap: First Christian Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

First Christian lost to Countryside Christian last Friday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Lions walked away with a 9-6 win over the Minutemen.

First Christian's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Countryside Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

First Christian will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Open Bible Christian at 4:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Countryside Christian, they will challenge Eastside at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
