Volleyball Recap: Valwood Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Valwood had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Thomasville Bulldogs on Thursday. The Valiants haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Valwood never let Thomasville on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-15, 25-16.

Coming up, Valwood will take on Lanier in a tournament on Saturday. As for Thomasville, they will host Georgia Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
