Owen Franklin was a major factor in Durant's victory over Lake Gibson on Monday. Franklin did his part (and then some), not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched for the 'W'. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Durant is 8-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 6-7 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Franklin and Durant will face off against Horizon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hawks will enter the matchup having just beaten Riverview, so the Cougars will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
