Meanwhile, Goreville put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 57-26 win over Trico. Considering Goreville has won nine contests by more than 22 points this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Abby Compton continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Goreville's points. Kyndall Webb was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Richland County's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Goreville, their victory bumped their record up to 14-0.
