The Huron Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 46-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Edison. Huron was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Edison apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
Ivy kluding was her usual excellent self, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds and six steals for Edison. Kluding set a new season high mark in blocks with two. Another player making a difference was Taylor Moore, who scored seven points.
Huron has fallen quite a ways from their 16-7 record last season and are now at 2-4. As for Edison, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Huron will face off against Seneca East at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Edison won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Firelands at 1:30 p.m. on December 16th. Hopefully Firelands focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 last Monday.
