Ossining is 8-0 against Port Chester since February of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Ossining Pride will look to defend their home court against the Port Chester Rams at 4:30 p.m. Ossining knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Port Chester likes a good challenge.
Ossining is headed into the game having just posted their closest win since December 6, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged Greeley out 82-79.

Ossining relied on the efforts of Claire Schnecker, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and 15 rebounds, and Saniya Bell, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 15 steals. Those 15 steals gave Bell a new career-high. Sophia Torrieri was another key player, putting up six points and seven assists.
Ossining smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in six consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Port Chester ended up a good deal behind White Plains on Tuesday and lost 49-33. The Rams have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Ossining will have to contain Elise Thomas as she made an impact in Port Chester's last game. She dropped a double-double on 14 points and 18 boards. Thomas has been hot, having posted ten or more rebounds the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Karah Provenzano, who posted nine points and six boards.
Ossining has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.5 points per game. As for Port Chester, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Ossining has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 33.3 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Port Chester struggles in that department as they've been averaging 33.4 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Everything came up roses for Ossining against Port Chester when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 72-32 victory. In that game, Ossining amassed a halftime lead of 42-17, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
