St. John took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Incarnate Word Academy Falcons as the St. John's Mavericks made off with a 12-3 victory. For the Mavericks, this counts as revenge for the 7-5 win the Falcons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2023.
