The North Florida Christian Eagles posted their biggest win since November 27, 2023 on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Taylor County 65-25 on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-16.
LeeAsia Johnson and Jershila Glover certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Johnson scored 11 points, while Glover scored nine points.
North Florida Christian's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-10. As for Taylor County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-10.
North Florida Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against St. John Paul II at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Taylor County, they will head out on the road to challenge Gadsden County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Gadsden County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 last Wednesday.
