Garrard County is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have   all season. They never let Frankfort get on the board and left with  a   17-0  victory  on Thursday. The  win was a breath of fresh air for the Golden Lions as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
 Emily Hounshell made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   keeping things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. Hounshell was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with three  RBI and one  triple.

 In other batting news, Garrard County let  Jazlynn Shelton and  Zoe Jordon run wild. Shelton  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4, while  Jordon  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave  Jordon a new career-high in  RBI (two).  Braylei Wade was another key player,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 Garrard County  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .528. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Frankfort only posted  an  OBP of  .176.
 Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Washington County's offense. They lost  19-0 to Barren County on Thursday.
 Washington County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Garrard County,  the  victory  got them back to even at 7-7.
