Briarfield Academy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Tensas Academy, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Rebels were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Chiefs on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Rebels, who have now won ten matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Ryder Jones was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Briarfield Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.9 runs over those games. As for Tensas Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Briarfield Academy will square off against rival Union Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Tensas Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Wilkinson County Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on the 16th.
