The Lawrence Tigers's game on Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past Bloomingdale 50-30. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-13.
Lawrence was led to victory by Noel Saldana and Ben McCaw. Saldana scored 12 points along with 5 steals, while McCaw dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which McCaw has scored at least 25% of Lawrence's points. Another player making a difference was Zander Payment, who scored 9 points along with 4 steals.
The victory got Lawrence back to even at 1-1. As for Bloomingdale, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Lawrence will head out on the road to face off against Comstock at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Comstock comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Bloomingdale, they will be playing at home against Centreville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Centreville and Bloomingdale are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
