Adding to the longest winning streak in Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division III this week, Buhler beat Abilene 56-22. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Crusaders.
Mulvane made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,164 from 4,042. The improvement was the result of a 35-14 victory over the Wildcats last week.
Mulvane's dynamic duo of RJ Rieger and Collin Dempsey proved to be unstoppable against Holton, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Rieger threw for 175 yards and Dempsey had 137 yards receiving. Dillon Whitaker helped Mulvane's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 38 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Rose Hill's Brett Bonar and Harrison Haydock have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-0 quarterback Bonar has thrown for 1,790 yards this season, while Haydock has 32 catches for 651 yards. Dave Fennewald's team's Michael Mason leads the league in rushing yards with 2,232.
Buhler led the league in scoring this week by notching 56 points on the Cowboys.
