North Huron's Brandon Moore rumbled for the longest rushing play in North Central Thumb - South (8 Man) this season in his game against Kingston last week. Moore ran for 90 yards on the play and finished with 301 on the day as his team bested the Cardinals.
Caseville was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after falling to Peck. The Eagles came in at 25 in the state poll after placing at number 26 last week.
Thanks to the talents of Kyle Case and Moore North Huron has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Case leads the league in passing with 646 yards, while Moore has rushed for 1530 yards this season. Caseville's Chase Lowers leads the league in receiving yards with 371 on 16 catches.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Cardinal Mooney Catholic and Kingston. The Cardinals comes into the matchup ranked 16th in the state, while the Cardinals ranks 13th.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Deckerville takes on the Pirates. The Eagles have allowed 103 points this season, while Peck has given up 86. Deckerville allowed 39 points last week as it beat Carsonville-Port Sanilac.
The Pirates took down the Eagles 38-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
