Golder College Prep moved up to 536 from 563 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Chicago Public Intra-City 3. The Panthers were able to move up by topping Rauner College Prep 40-8.
Rowe-Clark Math & Science Academy extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating UIC College Prep, 36-21. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Firecats' Jeremy Asbury and Koran Ward have proven to be a lethal combination. Asbury has thrown for 48 yards this season, while Ward has 2 catches for 35 yards. DeAngelo Johnson from Rowe-Clark Math & Science Academy leads the league in rushing with 266 yards.
An important game coming up in Chicago Public Intra-City 3 this week will be when Tony Largo's team takes on Noble Street College Prep. At the moment, the Masai Lions are in first, while the Golden Tigers are in fourth.
Noble Street College Prep was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from eighth to fourth in the league. The Golden Tigers defeated Comer Prep 26-0 earlier in the week.
