Firestone is a perfect 8-0 against Buchtel since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Falcons will head out to challenge the Griffins at 5:00 p.m. Firestone is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.

Firestone is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Sandy Valley just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 8-2 to the Cardinals. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Falcons couldn't push the score so high this time.

Firestone saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brennen Hostler, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Buchtel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against East, falling 18-4.

Buchtel's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Firestone, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.

Everything went Firestone's way against Buchtel in their previous meeting on Monday, as Firestone made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
