The Eastwood Christian Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They took a 43-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tuscaloosa Christian. If Eastwood Christian hoped to take revenge for the 45-36 defeat against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Tuscaloosa Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alec Joiner, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ryder Edmondson, who scored 11 points.
Eastwood Christian dropped their record down to 1-13 with that loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Tuscaloosa Christian, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-6.
Eastwood Christian will head out on the road to face off against Adullam House Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Tuscaloosa Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Victory Christian at 7:00 p.m.
