Edison won the last time they faced Herndon and things went their way on Monday too. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Hornets 1-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for Edison.

Edison's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Herndon, they dropped their record down to 1-4-2 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edison will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Falls Church at 7:15 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Herndon, they will take on Robinson at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
