Despite the loss, Park Vista still got an impressive performance from Tray Goldwire, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Goldwire continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Landon Gilbert, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
Palm Beach Lakes is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Park Vista, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.
Palm Beach Lakes will head out on the road to square off against Suncoast at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Suncoast will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 140th, while Palm Beach Lakes is ranked 45th). As for Park Vista, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Olympic Heights at 7:30 p.m.
