After a string of three wins, the Claremont Wolfpack's's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a hard 56-42 fall against Charter Oak. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Claremont in their matchups with Charter Oak: they've now lost three in a row.
Despite the loss, Claremont still got an impressive performance from Hugo Montejo, who scored 18 points along with 3 steals. Montejo scored a full 42.9% of Claremont's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Silas Mascarin, who scored 8 points.
Claremont's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Charter Oak, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Wilson the next time they take the court. Charter Oak will host Wilson at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Claremont will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
