West Morgan entered their tilt with Danville on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with  a   9-4  victory over the Hawks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  17-2  last Tuesday.

He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Colby Jones was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases, four  RBI,  and two  runs. West Morgan is 8-1 when  Jones posts two or  more  runs, but 7-9 otherwise. Another player making a difference was  Drake Moore, who  went 1-for-3 with two  RBI.
West Morgan's win was  their sixth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 15-10. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Danville,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-16.
 Coming up, West Morgan will welcome Fairview  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for Danville, they will head out to  face off against Elkmont  at 6:30  p.m.  on Saturday.
