Johnson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Jerry Santiago was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals.
Grasso Tech now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Harvard Ellis Tech, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Grasso Tech will be playing in front of their home fans against Lyman Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Connecticut (Lyman Memorial is ranked 163rd, while Grasso Tech is ranked 148th). Harvard Ellis Tech won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Cheney RVT at 6:30 p.m. on January 24th. The timing is sure in Cheney RVT's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while Harvard Ellis Tech has been banged up by nine consecutive losses on the road.
