They fell to the Hawks 56-52. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Brick Township in their matchups with Manchester Township: they've now lost five in a row.
It was another big night for Devyn Quigley, who dropped a double-double on 37 points and 11 rebounds for Manchester Township. That makes it 18 consecutive games in which Quigley has scored at least a third of Manchester Township's points. Another player making a difference was Jade Andrews, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Brick Township has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Manchester Township, they pushed their record up to 13-5 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
Brick Township will take on Barnegat at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Manchester Township, they will head out on the road to challenge Trinity Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
