This season hasn't been kind to Leupp Boarding, who are still winless after their eighth game. The contest between Leupp Boarding and Orme wasn't particularly close, with Leupp Boarding falling 45-29. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Leupp Boarding of the 43-41 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture on January 9th.
Orme can attribute much of their success to Preston Tisi, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Tisi has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of John Collins, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Leupp Boarding dropped their record down to 0-8 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.4 points per game. As for Orme, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Leupp Boarding will take on BASIS - Prescott at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. BASIS - Prescott is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for Orme, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Tri City Prep at 4:00 p.m.
