Boston Latin Academy added to the longest winning streak in Boston - South this week by beating New Mission/Boston Community Leadership Academy, 28-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Dragons.
Dorchester led the league in scoring this week by notching 38 points on Burke/Community Academy of Science & Health.
Boston English's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bulldogs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Emmanuel Almonte has thrown for 361 yards and 2 touchdowns this season, while Stevaughan Dowdye has 15 catches for 165 yards. Almonte also leads the league in rushing with 630 yards.
A big matchup in Boston - South this week will be when O'Bryant takes on the Bears. As it stands, the Tigers are in first, while Dorchester is in third.
