Last Saturday, Heath beat Granville 58-50. With that win, Heath brought their scoring average up to 52.3 points per game.
Heath got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Preston Devito out in front who scored 15 points. The contest was Devito's third in a row with at least ten points. Jordan Kaminsky was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight assists and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Valley scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They came out on top against South Gallia by a score of 79-71. The victory was all the more spectacular given Valley's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 607th, while South Gallia is ranked 276th).
Heath now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Valley, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
