The Manchester Blue Devils scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Webster County 71-13 on the road. With that win, Manchester brought their scoring average up to 50.7 points per game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Manchester to victory, but perhaps none more so than Laziya Moody, who scored 15 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Jhazarea Battle, who scored 11 points along with four steals.
Manchester is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Webster County, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Manchester won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Furlow Charter School at 2:30 p.m. on January 17th. Furlow Charter School comes in on a streak of failing to score more than seven points in their last eight games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Webster County, they will head out on the road to square off against Central at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Central is on a seven-game streak of home losses, Webster County a 16-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
