The Tumwater Thunderbirds lost against the Mark Morris Monarchs back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Tumwater fell 61-54 to Mark Morris.
Tumwater lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jake Dillon, who scored 15 points. Beckett Wall was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds.
Tumwater's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Mark Morris, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tumwater will finish 2023 at home by hosting Port Angeles at 8:00 p.m. on December 28th. As for Mark Morris, they will play host again and welcome Grandview, where tip off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on December 28th. Grandview has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 690 points over their last nine matches.
