In what's become a running theme this season, the Kecoughtan Warriors gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. Everything went their way against West Springfield as Kecoughtan made off with a 70-45 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Kecoughtan.
Tyler Suber continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points. Another player making a difference was Derek Todd, who scored 15 points.
Kecoughtan pushed their record up to 8-7 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.8 points per game. As for West Springfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.
Kecoughtan will be playing at home against Bethel at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Virginia (Bethel is ranked 159th, while Kecoughtan is ranked 164th). As for West Springfield, they will head out on the road to challenge South County at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. South County is facing West Springfield at the right time seeing as West Springfield is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
