The Loomis Wolves won the last time they faced the Anselmo-Merna Coyotes, and things went their way on Friday too. Loomis simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Anselmo-Merna 55-25 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Loomis has managed all season.
Loomis' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ben Trompke led the charge by scoring 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Larson, who scored eight points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Loomis and bumps their season record up to 4-5. As for Anselmo-Merna, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Brady the next time they take the court. Anselmo-Merna will head out to face Brady at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Loomis will host them at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
