In what's become a running theme this season, the Upsala Cardinals gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They breezed by Swanville on the road to the tune of 79-44. The win made it back-to-back wins for Upsala.
Upsala got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Dakota Soltis out in front who scored 20 points along with five steals. Soltis hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Brenna Graves, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Upsala is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season. As for Swanville, they dropped their record down to 12-11 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
Upsala will head out on the road to take on Braham at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Swanville, they will be playing at home against Little Falls at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
