Fellowship Academy is 9-1 against Temple Christian since January of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Fellowship Academy Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Temple Christian Eagles at 7:00 p.m.
Last Tuesday, things could have been worse for Fellowship Academy, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 69-52 loss to Covenant Classical. Fellowship Academy has not had much luck with Covenant Classical recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Meanwhile, Temple Christian slipped by Trinity 37-36 on Saturday.
Temple Christian can attribute much of their success to Luke Cisneros, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cisneros has scored all season. Ethan Rife was another key contributor, scoring six points along with ten rebounds.
Fellowship Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-23. As for Temple Christian, their win bumped their record up to 7-14.
Fellowship Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Temple Christian when the teams last played back in December of 2022, sneaking past 44-42. Does Fellowship Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Temple Christian turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
