Basketball Recap: Ogden Comes Up Short

Ogden suffered their closest loss since January 17th on Thursday. They fell just short of the Canyon View Falcons by a score of 80-78. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Ogden still got an impressive performance from Jackson Maw, who almost dropped a double-double with 38 points and nine rebounds. The contest was Maw's third in a row with at least 19 points. Another player making a difference was Tayson Porter, who posted 19 points.

Ogden now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Canyon View, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

Ogden wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 63-52 defeat against Emery on the 5th. As for Canyon View, they have also already played their next game, a 57-46 victory against Bear River on the 5th.
