The Metro Christian Patriots won the last time they faced the Mingo Valley Christian Eagles, and things went their way on Saturday too. Metro Christian took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 100-37 victory over Mingo Valley Christian. With Metro Christian ahead 45-14 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Despite the defeat, Mingo Valley Christian saw an underclassman step up: Harrison Chatham scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds. The game was Chatham's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Isaiah McLemore, who scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds.
Metro Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Mingo Valley Christian, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Metro Christian will head out on the road to face off against Victory Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Mingo Valley Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
