The team also got some help courtesy of Layla Johnson, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Ariyona Spearman continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Union, scoring 27 points. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Spearman has scored at least a third of Union's points. Zadariyah Faison was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Neuse Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Union, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 18-4.
