After two games on the road, Western Tech & Environmental Science is heading back home. They will take on the Kenwood Bluebirds at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Last Wednesday, it was a hard-fought matchup, but Western Tech & Environmental Science had to settle for a 44-42 defeat against Patapsco. That's two games in a row now that Western Tech & Environmental Science has lost by exactly two points.
Meanwhile, Kenwood came tearing into Wednesday's match with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 58-46 victory over Franklin.
Austin Mbuyi continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 31 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Neo Feehan, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds.
Western Tech & Environmental Science's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Kenwood, they pushed their record up to 12-8 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.
