Oak Grove was led to victory by Trista Charles and Emma Hadley. Charles scored 18 points along with 4 steals, while Hadley scored 11 points along with 9 steals and 7 rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which Charles has scored at least 25% of Oak Grove's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kalin Favreau, who scored 8 points along with 3 steals.
Thomasville's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Oak Grove, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
