Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Slinger). They were the clear victors by a 17-5 margin over the Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes on Tuesday. The Owls haven't had any issues with the Blue Dukes recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Slinger's record now sits at 5-3. As for Whitefish Bay, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Slinger will square off against rival Nicolet at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Whitefish Bay is set to face off against their familiar foe Homestead at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
