Hamilton put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their game with ease, bagging a 54-0 victory over the Valley Vista Monsoon. Given the Huskies' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona football rankings (they are ranked third, while the Monsoon are ranked 79th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.
Hamilton found their leader in sophomore Jax Sculley, who threw for 339 yards and six TDs while completing 76.5% of his passes. Sculley is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: he's passed for at least four every time he's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Riley, who picked up 113 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Hamilton's defense and their six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Nicolas Barrie and Derrick Leblanc Jr, who racked up four sacks between them.
Hamilton's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Valley Vista, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
