Douglas County made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,983 from 6,329.
The Tigers' Ellis Richardson and Anthony Garner have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading AAAAAA Region 3 in both passing and receiving yards. Richardson has thrown for 829 yards this season, while Garner has 16 catches for 303 yards. Hughes's Keion Davis leads the league in rushing yards with 200.
Two highly touted recruits will be in the spotlight when Tri-Cities and Newnan meet this week. The Bulldogs features well-regarded senior Jeremi Hall while the Cougars has Tray Matthews, a sought after senior.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Tri-Cities takes on Newnan. At the moment, the Bulldogs are in third, while the Cougars are in first.
