When it comes to explaining why Oxford lost, one person who can't be blamed is Brady Marqoupis. Despite the final result, he scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Connor Fantasia, who scored nine points.
Auburn's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6. As for Oxford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.
