Monroe City were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They steamrollered Hamilton/Warsaw 52-0. Followers of Monroe City probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.
The victory bumped Monroe City's record up to 4-1. The loss dropped Hamilton/Warsaw's record to 3-2.
Next week Monroe City take on South Shelby at 7:00 PM. Monroe City will be strutting in after a win while South Shelby will be stumbling in from a defeat. Hamilton/Warsaw will be staying on the road, facing off against Macomb. Both of those teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
